Annual Feedback Report August 2023
The Business School has finalised its’ annual report into our learner feedback and we are delighted to share some of the results with you. As part of our ISO:9001 accreditation, and because we believe that the quality of the learning and our learner’s experience is our most important organisational objective, we carry out an annual process of analysing all feedback that we get – and of course all feedback helps us to improve across the whole organisation.
Across our whole catalogue, we ask for learner feedback on their Overall Experience, Tutor Knowledge, Tutor Support, Learning Materials, use of our Virtual Learning Environment and the Assessment Process. Learners are asked to score their feedback on a scale of Excellent, Good, Satisfactory and Unsatisfactory as well as providing us with any comments.
We are delighted that the overall outcomes from all this show not only that the vast majority of learners feel that their experience is Excellent or Good, but also that in some courses, we have achieved 100% Excellent scores – the Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport has emerged as our best with this overall rating across all areas. One learner commented:
‘This module has developed my commercial awareness immensely, complementary to my work experience, it has opened up a new modern perspective to business management with exposure to varying methodologies and theories. This module truly engenders the candidate to a commercial perspective to business situations.’
In other areas, we scored 100% for Tutor Knowledge and for our Assessment Process. This is particularly gratifying for us as we pride ourselves on our Tutors, who are all knowledgeable and experienced professionals with a firm hold on industry developments. Our Assessment Process we believe is the best for learners – no examinations or time slots for assignment submission and learners can work flexibly wherever they are in the world and whatever their work patterns, circumstances or commitments. The following comments sum up our philosophy and approach to our learners:
‘The idea of online studies can be overwhelming due to timescales, but with the resources available, it is a great way of learning.’
‘Fantastic support, and being able to work at your own speed, with other commitments is just amazing.’
