How Long does it take? Learners will complete up to 400 hours of study and complete 4 units.

How is it assessed? Learners submit assignments based on their own or a well understood logistics environment, and will receive clear feedback for any necessary resubmissions.

How is It taught. Through our VLE with feedback and expert tutor support.

The Level 6 Diploma in Strategic Logistics Management aims to provide a strategic technical management qualification in a logistics environment, developing strategic skills and insight for professional development. It prepares learners on an academic basis in research and reporting skills at a high level, as they approach post graduate standards. This newly developed specification focuses on supporting learners to perform in a demanding logistics environment at a strategic level, supporting key decision making and planning skills at a senior level.

Areas of study – Global Influences on Business Strategy, Strategic Leadership and Supply Chain Analysis, Strategic Planning, Strategic Supply Chain Optimisation, Strategic Business Research Project.

The specification has been designed to allow learners to develop a professional project that can be a vehicle for improvement within an organisation.

The whole programme covers some 535 hours of learning.

How is it assessed? Through assignments submitted during the learning.

The OTHM Level 4 Certificate in Inventory Management is a brand new qualification, and we believe it is unique.  Effective inventory management is absolutely crucial in all environments where stock is held and therefore developing expertise in this area is a valuable addition to your professional development.

The objective of the OTHM Level 4 Certificate in Inventory Management is intended to develop learners’ understanding of specialist inventory management knowledge and skills.

The qualification provides learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals and provides knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective inventory manager.

Learners will develop and enhance knowledge in the areas of inventory principles, current and emerging inventory systems, inventory management through a network and essential inventory management skills in regard to shrinking service windows and the real costs of holding inventory.

Successful completion of this qualification will allow learners to work in a variety of roles within inventory management and to progress to further study.
