We are pleased to announce that Helen Chambers, Operations Director at The Business School UK, with effect from the 1st January 2016, has been appointed as the Chief External Verifier for CILT in the UK.
Helen has been involved with the CILT for many years including the roles of Assistant Director of Professional Development and External Verifier. Her work included being involved with the integration of the Institute of Logistics and the Chartered Institute of Transport. This also included the subsequent changes to the qualification structures at that time, and to the implementation of the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) scheme for the new institute.
“Helen is a highly experienced External Verifier and Training professional. Her immense depth of knowledge will now be brought to bear to assist the CILT(UK) Awarding Organisation and each of the External Verifiers look forward to working with her and taking things forward to meet the challenges ahead. Helen has also for over 17 years, been directly involved in developing and monitoring military logistics courses on behalf of CILT(UK) and has developed an acute awareness of the strengths, opportunities and issues of current serving and ex-forces personnel. As a result, she is exceptionally well placed to ensure the Institute delivers best value out of this unique and valuable group and also represents their interests in an effective manner.” David Ockleton, FCILT FCMI.
